What we are trying to do?
Reduce energy demand
Help with the promotion of simple tips to help people use less energy and therefore reduce costs.
Housing Retrofits & Grants
Encourage the installation insultaion, draft proofing and heating system replacement thoroguh the promotion of the various grants and help avaliable.
Work with local builders to show in simple terms what can be done and savings to expected (£ / CO2)
Private Rented Obligations
Raise awareness of the landlord obligation to achieve EPC C and promote any funding available to achieve this.
Community Energy Project
Facilitate community led energy projects, e.g. Solar Energy Club – residents club together to buy cheaper solar panels.
